CONDITIONS FOR SIGNING THE CONTRACT
At the time of signing the contract, the declared drivers must be present in person
and present the original of their driving license valid in Greece as well as the original
of an identity card or passport.
The minimum age of the driver must be 23 years old with a license valid for at least 1
year.
VEHICLE AVAILABILITY
We reserve the right to provide a vehicle model different from the one initially
reserved, of an equivalent or higher type at no extra cost.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made by credit card or cash.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of between €250 and €550, depending on the vehicle model, will
be required at the time of signing the contract. (By pre-authorization on a credit card
or in cash).
Please note that the actual time required for the funds to reappear in your account
may vary depending on your bank's processing times, which are generally between
14 and 30 business days. Rental Center is not responsible for delays related to your
banking institution.
INSURANCE
Our vehicles are covered by civil liability insurance in accordance with current
regulations.
Third-party insurance: the renter is liable for any damage to the rental car.
C.D.W.: Comprehensive insurance with an excess/deductible of €550.
Important: the insurance does not cover damage to the wheels, tires, mirrors,
windows, underside, or interior of the car.
The insurance coverage is not valid if the driver does not comply with Greek traffic
laws (e.g., speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs).
Child seats are available on request for all ages at no extra charge. Due to insurance
policy requirements, it is the renter's responsibility to install the seat in the car
themselves.
ACCIDENT/INCIDENT
In the event of an accident/incident, regardless of the coverage chosen, the
customer is required to immediately notify Rental Center so that the insurance
company can come and assess the damage on site.
Failure to comply with this procedure will result in the customer being liable for the
full cost of the damage and the card provided will be charged.
If the renter or registered drivers are responsible, the cost will be equal to the
amount of the deductible for the CDW and equal to the total amount of repairs with
the third-party insurance.
USER OBLIGATIONS
You must return the vehicle in the same condition and with the same fuel level as
when you picked it up. If the interior is abnormally dirty, you will be charged for the
cost of cleaning. No refund will be given if the vehicle is returned with a higher fuel
level than when you picked it up.
It is forbidden to drive the car on beaches and salt lakes.
It is forbidden to take the car on a ferry and leave the island of Naxos.
The renter remains responsible for traffic violations and agrees to pay any fines
issued during the rental period.
APPLICABLE LAW - JURISDICTION
The terms of the contract are governed by Greek law, on the basis of which they are
also interpreted. The courts of Naxos shall have sole jurisdiction to resolve and settle
any dispute arising from the interpretation and/or application/implementation of
these terms and conditions.
ACCEPTANCE
Signing the rental contract constitutes full and complete acceptance of these terms and conditions.
